I loved the H!P performance on this year's Kouhaku Utagassen. Was really happy to see Marippe singing with the others. Ayu's performance was great. There were parts where she kind of went off key, but hey, nobody's perfect.

I finished packing my books, CDs and DVDs. I'm not yet at all prepared for moving. Seems like that everytime though. I just hope the new apartment brings us better luck than the former one. Anyway, the new apartment's just a few hundred feet away from Wal-Mart and about one and a half blocks from the cinema so I don't think I'll ever be bored there.

MORNING MUSUME. - AS FOR ONE DAY |

- Woke up a little past 8, went back to sleep. Around an hour later I was finally up.
- My mum, dad, sis and my nephew went to check on this apartment in Corona, CA (I think).
- Had brunch while watching Cinematech on G4.
- Browsed on message forums a bit.
- At around noon I started playing The Simpsons Hit & Run on my PS2.
- Had a little break at 14:00, then went back to playing.
- The 'rents, my sis and nephew arrived at around 17:00. Was still playing.
- By 18:00, my eyes started hurting so I stopped playing. (Yeah... should've stopped sooner.)
- Watched some show on the History Channel.
- Ate dinner.
That's the gist of what happened today. Pretty uneventful. Hit & Run was just too addictive, but I think I won't play that again until I finish FFX (I stopped playing a few months ago and just continued after I bought FFIX a few days ago).
And if you're interested, yes, we are moving. Well, it's not 100% sure yet if we'll get that apartment they checked earlier today.

MMhmm... It's been almost a week, I think, since I last updated my LJ. What have I been doing the past seven days? Well, things. Mostly work. I've been at work most of the week and had only Sunday and Friday off.
I still haven't gotten to buy the Thundercats boxset. Haven't had the chance to go check Wal-mart if they have it. I hope they do cause I really want to get my hands on it. *squeels in excitement* XD The last time I saw a Thundercats episode was at least a decade ago. Yeah, it's been THAT long. So, you know how I feel. One of my favourite cartoons, an 80's show I might add, is finally on DVD!!!
Anyway, other things -- making new banners and new layouts for my Nami Tamaki and day after tomorrow fansites. Now that dat's last release is coming up... I'm supposed to move my fansite, but I can't do that until next month or late this month at the earliest. And I have to make a new layout for my Nami Tamaki site before she releases anything new again.
I still have to buy the last Kare Kano tankoubon (#21), which is available now. Ah! I can't wait to see what happens in the last chapters. Will Soichiro and Yukino live happilly ever after or will something else happen?

It was super busy at work today. Picture it: Two cashiers, around 10~30 customers deciding to check out all at the same friggin' time. That's how it was most of the day. Well, it was when I started my shift and a little before I was done for the day. I had, like, two customers who were an 's' short of being a-holes. Anyway, the day's almost over so who the hell cares?
I'm patiently awaiting three packages in the mail. One from YesAsia, another from R-S and the last one from an eBay seller (remember the entry where I mentioned Odoru 11?). I'm 100% sure they're all gonna arrive next week. Waiting's the hard part.
I've been thinking about this since last night. It's concerning the last Funky Winkerbean strip. "What the hell will happen to Wally?" I'm new to Funky Winkerbean. Can you tell? ^^;
Yeah, I just had to get that out of my system. I've got this thing about characters I'm starting to like dying or losing limbs. I just hate it. Take Blue Gender for instance, when one of the good characters died, I just went into "wants-to-cry-right-now!" mode. Right now, I'm just counting down the minutes so I can read today's (Sunday) strip.

The day was mostly done napping in the living room. *sighs*
We went to Wal-mart tonight. There wasn't anything interesting I could find except for Alanis Morissette's new acoustic album (Jagged Little Pill Acoustic). The acoustic versions are even better than the original versions. ^^; Anyway, I hope they have the Thundercats box set when it goes on sale next week. XD

Okay, after re-reading the obi on the latest Hot Gimmick tankoubon (#11), I'm a bit positive that it says Betsucomi's August issue will contain the series' last chapter. And an extra one'll be on the next issue. Anywho, I wonder. Who will Hatsumi end up dating? Shinogu or Ryoki? Or will she end up with a broken heart (no significant other).
As you can probably tell, I haven't read the last Betsucomi issues. Damn. I wish Sanseido had the August issue when I was there a few days ago. I guess I'll just have to wait for tankoubon 12, which comes out 2005.10.26!!!
Decided to order 'fairyland / alterna (CD+DVD)' yesterday. I wasn't gonna order it till Friday, but meh... Same thing. And I just won 3 H!P shuffle singles. Yay! I won:

Okay, we passed by Mitsuwa Marketplace before going to my cousin's birthday party and what did I find?
Asahiya Bookstore was gone. Instead, there was a new bookstore there. Books Sanseido.
Since they were still fixing the rest of the bookstore, they had a very limited number of books and magazines on display. Yeah, it was disappointing cause I was planning on checking out some CDs that were released a few days ago. -__- Anyway, I'll try going back maybe by the end of August. I hope by that time they'd have finished working and have the store fully stocked.
Here's a small list of what I got:
Hot Gimmick vol.11 (Sad to hear the next chapters that'll be included in the next issue of Betsucomi'll be the last ones. Meaning the next tankoubon will be the last one as well.)
Shojo Comic August 2005
Sho-Comi's furoku's cute, but what'll I do with a keyholder/mirror? Meh. I don't have to peel out the plastic sheet from the mirror side. That way, nobody'll suspect a thing. Hehe
I saw Cawaii and S Cawaii in stock. The ones with Ayu on the cover. And they also had the Popteen issue with Namie on the cover. But, I didn't have enough time to grab them cause we were in a hurry.
Oh, and my copy of YUGO THE NEGOTIATOR arrived as I'd expected. I'll have to watch it tomorrow. And my YesAsia order should arrive on Monday. Okay, what's next... oh, yeah. I'm still not sure how I can order the last Kare Kano tankoubon (it's released in a few days!!!). I'm looking into ordering at S-Book since they ship overseas (Lucky, ne?) or I can check Sasuga. I think I'll go with S-Book though. They should be faster than Sasuga.

I finally finished HBP. Took me four days. Well, I didn't go reading it non-stop so it took four days. As far as I'm concerned, the character's demise was predictable. I had an inkling as to who was going to die even before the little incident at Tokyo-Nights the other day. Still, the book is good. If I were to rate it right now, I'd give it a 9. I think some parts were kind of hurried. But, that doesn't matter now, does it? All that matters now is book 7, which, according to Miss Rowling, will be ready in around 2 years.
The Nymphadora (Tonks) thing was a surprise though. Really.

Don't ask me what the Nymphadora thing is. Read the book.
